# Boise game-day weekends: Your fall 2026 guide to Bronco football, Steelheads hockey and TSO Fly into BOI or drive in, then get to the stadium, park, and fit in everything Boise has on between Halloween and Black Friday. Between Halloween night and the day after Thanksgiving there are three Boise State home games, six Steelheads games, Dwight Yoakam, and two Trans-Siberian Orchestra shows. **The short answer for visitors:** - **Getting in:** Boise Airport (BOI) is about four miles from downtown, and a city bus runs from the terminal toward Albertsons Stadium. - **Getting to the game:** the free Game Day Bus covers the trip from downtown. - **Planning:** buy parking early, and arrive earlier than seems necessary. The bigger question is how you'll get back from a night game. - **Rental cars:** the Rental Car Center connects to the terminal by a covered walkway just west of baggage claim. No shuttle needed. - **Rideshare:** pickup is at the east end of the upper curb. - **Route 2 Broadway:** this Valley Regional Transit bus runs from BOI to Broadway & University, near Albertsons Stadium. On Saturdays it runs hourly until 9:50 p.m. - **Route 3 Vista:** runs from BOI to downtown. > **Good to know:** Route 2 works for the 4 p.m. Oregon State kickoff. For the 8 p.m. Texas State game and the 7:30 p.m. San Diego State game, line up a rideshare or a driver for the trip back. Once Alvro launches, some hosts will offer delivery to an airport, hotel or address. That could mean a car waiting when you land at BOI. ## Traveling with the visiting team? ### Aztecs fans flying from San Diego BOI lists nonstop service to San Diego (SAN) on Alaska and Southwest. The Nov. 21 kickoff is 7:30 p.m. Mountain, 6:30 p.m. back home. ### Texas State fans from Austin and San Antonio BOI's nonstop list doesn't include Austin or San Antonio. Plan to connect through a hub it does list, such as Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver or Phoenix, and check airlines for times that get you in before the 8 p.m. Halloween kickoff. ### Oregon State fans heading east BOI lists nonstops from Portland (PDX) on Alaska. Single-game parking is $20 per space in select lots, first-come, first-served. The game-day map at maps.broncosports.com shows the lots and gives turn-by-turn directions. ## Is there a free game-day shuttle? Yes. VRT's Game Day Bus is free. It makes 13 downtown stops and runs every 15 minutes, from two hours before kickoff until an hour after the game. That makes for a good evening: park downtown, have dinner, and ride the rest of the way. Once Alvro launches, booking a car by the hour could fit that kind of night well. For night kickoffs, plan the ride home before you plan the tailgate. ## What should I know at the gate? - **Gates open two hours before kickoff.** Most general tickets work at any gate. - **Bag rule:** one clear bag up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches, or a clutch up to 4.5 x 6.5 inches. - **Bronco Walk:** arrive about 2 hours 45 minutes before kickoff to catch it. ## Live in Boise and have a car that sits on game day? > **For Boise hosts:** visiting fans need wheels, and plenty of local cars sit parked while their owners walk or bus to the stadium. Capitol Blvd., the arena has Steelheads hockey six nights this month and Dwight Yoakam on Nov. 12. Route 3 Vista runs here from the airport. > **Good to know:** Nov. 21 is a double header. The Steelheads (7:10 p.m.) and Boise State (7:30 p.m.) start 20 minutes apart. Leave early and buy parking in advance. **Rush and Mariners fans:** BOI lists no nonstops from South Dakota or Maine. Connect through a hub it does list, such as Denver, Salt Lake City or Minneapolis, and check airlines. Doors open at 1 p.m. for the 2 p.m. show and at 6 p.m. for the 7 p.m. show. - **Parking:** pre-purchased parking is sold for each show. The West Stadium Lot is premium; standard parking is in the East Stadium Lot and Lincoln Garage. - **Driving in from elsewhere in Idaho or eastern Oregon:** check Idaho 511 (511.idaho.gov, or dial 511) before you leave. **Family flying in for Thanksgiving?** When Alvro opens, some hosts will offer delivery to an airport, hotel or address.
