It will connect renters with local hosts who share their own cars; Alvro doesn't own vehicles. When it opens, renters will be able to book by the hour, day, week or month, and some hosts will offer delivery to an airport, hotel or address. Protection plans will come through licensed third-party insurers. Hosts will keep up to 90% of every trip. Alvro expects to launch in Idaho and Oregon in early 2027 and isn't open for bookings yet.
