Acceptable Use Policy

Alvro is a marketplace built on trust. This Acceptable Use Policy describes the activity that is not allowed on the platform and how we enforce those rules. It applies to all renters, hosts, and anyone who interacts with Alvro.

You may not use a vehicle booked on Alvro to:

• Provide ridesharing or commercial passenger transport (e.g., a taxi or ride-hail service).
• Make commercial courier, package, or food deliveries.
• Drive in a race, rally, speed contest, or driving school.
• Test the vehicle's endurance or performance limits.
• Drive anywhere other than on maintained public roads in the United States.
• Off-road, or drive on unpaved or unimproved private roads or trails.
• Tow another vehicle or trailer.
• Transport hazardous, illegal, or improperly secured cargo.
• Commit a crime, evade law enforcement, or assist someone else in doing either.
• Drive under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication.
• Lend or sublet the vehicle to anyone who is not an approved driver.
• Carry more passengers than the vehicle's rated seating (one belted passenger per seatbelt) or exceed its rated cargo capacity.
• Modify or alter the vehicle, or add or remove parts, accessories, or devices, without the host's and Alvro's written permission.

These prohibitions apply to every trip. A host's listing rules may add further restrictions but cannot waive or loosen any prohibition in this policy.

Hosts may not list:

• Vehicles you do not own or are not authorized to share.
• Vehicles with open recalls related to safety until the recall is addressed.
• Vehicles with non-repairable or junk titles, or that fail to meet local inspection requirements. (Salvage- and rebuilt-title vehicles that pass inspection may be listed.)
• Vehicles modified in a way that affects safety or insurability.
• Vehicle types not currently supported by Alvro (see Help).

You may not:

• Circumvent Alvro's payment system, accept or arrange off-platform payment, or take a booking off-platform.
• Create fake accounts, impersonate another person, or share an account.
• Post fake, misleading, or coerced reviews; offer compensation for a review; or attempt to manipulate ratings.
• Scrape, copy, or reverse-engineer the platform or its data.
• Use the platform to spam, send unsolicited messages, or harvest contact details.
• Interfere with the platform's operation or security (denial of service, exploits, malware, etc.).

Keeping bookings, payments, and communication on Alvro is what makes our protection, support, and dispute resolution possible. Taking a trip, payment, or side agreement off-platform voids any Alvro protection for that trip, forfeits our support and dispute assistance, and can result in suspension or removal from Alvro. Alvro may also recover any fees it would have earned on a booking taken off-platform.

Renters and hosts must treat each other with respect. The following are never allowed:

• Harassment, threats, hate speech, or discrimination based on race, color, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
• Sexual harassment or unwelcome advances.
• Doxxing, stalking, or publishing private information without consent.
• Retaliation against users who report problems in good faith.

If you see something that violates this policy, report it from any trip, profile, listing, or message, or email trust@alvro.com. For emergencies, call 911 first and then notify Alvro.

When we find a violation, we take action proportional to the severity and history. That may include:

• Removing a listing, review, or message.
• Requiring corrective action before further use.
• Restricting features, payouts, or trip eligibility.
• Canceling a trip or refunding the renter.
• Suspending or permanently removing your account.
• Reporting unlawful conduct to law enforcement.

Serious violations — fraud, endangering safety, deliberate deception — may result in immediate, permanent removal.
